Star is The Place!

Idaho is a stunningly beautiful state, full of diverse landscapes and activities to explore. From the star-filled night skies of the Snake River Plain to the rugged peaks of the Sawtooth Mountains, Idaho offers something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for outdoor adventure, cultural exploration, or just some quality time with family and friends, Idaho has plenty of things to do. From skiing and snowboarding in winter to whitewater rafting in summer, Idaho is an outdoor paradise. For those seeking culture and history, there are numerous museums and historical sites to explore. And if you’re just looking for a relaxing getaway, Idaho’s wineries and hot springs provide a perfect escape from everyday life. No matter what your interests may be, Idaho has something for everyone!

Star is a satellite city of Idaho’s capital city, Boise, just 30 minutes away. It has all the hominess of a small town, with the amenities of the bigger city right at your fingertips.   Spend a summer night watching the Boise Hawks play America’s great game of baseball. Public movie nights in the park in Star are also a big hit! And don’t miss the Hometown Celebration parade annually on the 4th of July.  Multiple floats participate with a large fireworks display afterward.  The Snake River Stampede rodeo “where the cowboy is the star” is a can’t miss southern Idaho event.
